    Preferred Qualifications
    P.E. license or potential to obtain one, and prior teaching experience.

    Responsibilities & Requirements
    The Department of Civil Engineering at Stony Brook University invites applications for a full-time lecturer (non-tenure track position) in the area of structural engineering. Responsibilities for the position include classroom/laboratory teaching, preparing course material, advising students, managing and mentoring graders and/or graduate teaching assistants, holding office hours, assigning grades, and maintaining a course website.

    Special Notes
    This is a non-tenure track position. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Internal and external search to occur simultaneously. Anticipated Start Date: August 2019.
