    Purdue University’s Honors College and College of Engineering Visiting Clinical Assistant Professor
    Date Available: August 2022

    Principal Duties: Purdue University’s Honors College and College of Engineering, West Lafayette, Indiana, invite applications for a one-year Visiting Clinical Assistant Professor position. We seek candidates from any engineering discipline who are dedicated, innovative teachers to offer honors courses in the Honors College and the College of Engineering, and participate in the intellectual life of the university. Required duties include: teaching in the first-year honors course series on topics related to the candidate’s field of specialty and offering specialty honors seminars and sections of engineering courses. The workload is 2-2 teaching, with participation in Goss Scholars learning community activities and other high impact extra-curricular programming that support the honors experience. This is a full-time appointment at the level of Visiting Clinical Assistant Professor. Contract is one year, and the position begins August 2022.

    Qualifications
    Ph.D. required in any discipline of engineering. Candidates must demonstrate ability to teach courses in engineering and interdisciplinary range to offer seminars to students from various majors. Applicants should demonstrate experience or ideas for implementing innovative teaching techniques and working with a diverse student population. The nine-month salary will be based on education and experience. Purdue University offers a comprehensive benefits package.

    The Honors College
    The Honors College is Purdue’s interdisciplinary college that serves highly motivated undergraduate students from every disciplinary school in the university.
