    Key Responsibilities



    • AI Enablement Programmes

      1. Lead and oversee a range of AI enablement programmes to facilitate the growth of AI skills among SIT undergraduate students and academic staff.

      2. Develop an AI Competency Roadmap, providing guidance for SIT undergraduate students and academic staff in developing their AI competencies.

      3. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in AI, ensuring the continued relevancy and currency of the AI enablement programmes and AI Competency Roadmap.

      4. Manage AI-related resources within the division such as (but not limited to) the administration of software, hardware systems, and equipment.



    • AI Projects for Teaching and Learning

      1. Drive AI projects within SIT or with industry partners to support teaching and learning objectives.

      2. Collaborate with faculty and other divisions on these AI projects.

      3. Participate in the development of these AI projects.

      4. Supervise external parties and mentor students in the development of these AI projects.



    • Teaching & Student Mentorship

      1. Develop and deliver digital skills literacy related courses or workshops to undergraduate students and staff. This includes development of learning contents and activities, providing consultations on digital skills/technology related queries, and assessment and grading of students’ work.

      2. Mentor and facilitate student learning by participating in and managing student projects.



    • Any other matters as directed by Director/Deputy Director of CoDE.


    Job Requirements



    • A good degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. Masters, PhD and/or relevant professional certifications would be advantageous.

    • 5+ years of working experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Analytics, or a related area.

    • Proven experience in developing and deploying AI solutions.

    • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.

    • Proficiency in data preprocessing, model training, and evaluation techniques.

    • Familiarity with cloud platforms and AI/ML tools (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

    • Keen interest in innovation projects, with demonstrated ability in developing solutions to technical problems.

    • Possess strong supervisory skills and project management skills.

    • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work independently, as well as within a team, to ensure that the project can meet the milestones adhering to the stipulated timeline.

    • Enjoy working closely with students in an educational environment.

    • Demonstrate proficiency to keep abreast of development in the field and pursue professional certification programs.
