    Work description



    • Configuration and optimization of the OpenFoam stack;

    • Definition of the course objectives and program;

    • Development of training content: slides and videos;

    • Writing the scholarship activity report.


    Academic Qualifications


    PhD in Mechanical Engineering or related field.


    Minimum profile required



    • Experience as an OpenFOAM code programmer for more than 2 years;

    • 2 published papers in peer-reviewed conferences or journals reporting results obtained with OpenFOAM.


    Preference factors



    • Experience in high-performance numerical computing in OpenFOAM.


    Maintenance stipend: € 1801,00, according to the table of monthly maintenance stipend for FCT grants , paid via bank transfer. Grant holders may be awarded potential supplements, according to a quarterly evaluation process (Articles 19, 21 and 22 of the Regulations for Grants of INESC TEC and Annex II), up to a maximum limit of 50% of the monthly maintenance stipend.
