The Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering and Engineering Management (ISEEM) at The University of Alabama in Huntsville invites applications for a Lecturer position with a start date no later than August 15, 2024.  The main duty includes teaching with a focus on industrial engineering-related courses.  We are looking for strong candidates with a solid methodological background in broad areas of industrial engineering, including but not limited to manufacturing, statistics, quality engineering, engineering economy, facilities layout, and human factors.  This is a one-year appointment and employment beyond that will depend upon available funding.

Applicant qualifications should include: (a) a Ph.D. in industrial engineering or related field; (b) a strong commitment to teaching undergraduate and graduate students in a research university; (c) interest in teaching a variety of courses in industrial engineering. Work or research experience with application to manufacturing is also desirable.
