    Job Description


    The Biomedical Engineering department at Stevens Institute of Technology is seeking qualified applicants for part-time adjunct teaching and course development assignments for BME 512-BME 513, Physiology Lab 1 and Lab 2 course development.
    The focus of this laboratory course consists of topic and experiments in Physiology (experiment/topic). These experiments are designed to demonstrate principles discussed in the lectures as well as introduce and familiarize students with basic principles and methods used widely in biomedical engineering to study physiology of the human body. The course will be in course development over Summer 2024.

    Applicant Education/Professional Requirements: PhD preferred, Masters degree required in Biomedical Engineering, Bioengineering or a related engineering field from an accredited program. Or combined with a masters degree and 5 years of work experience, biomedical or related engineering management, and/or previous teaching experience in Biomedical.
    Teaching experience preferred 
    PhD preferred

    Under the direction of the Academic Department Chair develop and manage syllabus materials. Coordinate courseware and curriculum with academic department chair. Facilitate class instruction and evaluate student performance. This is a part-time position. Education: Master or Ph.D. preferred in area of experience plus experience in instruction and lab experience as well as classroom experience. Master degree may be considered if appropriate experience applies.
