    The candidates are expected to:



    • Establish an independent, world-class research program,

    • Enhance the School’s visibility as an international leader in education and research

    • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses

    • Actively collaborate with NTU faculty and researchers


     


     Responsibilities:



    • Conduct original high-quality research in Heterogeneous catalysis

    • Publish high quality papers at reputable peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings.

    • Give invited talks at international conferences, securing competitive research grants, and supervising research personnel.

    • Contribute to teaching and course development at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

    • Supervise undergraduate and graduate students undertaking research projects.

    • Undertake administrative and/or leadership roles.

    • Contribute to other service-related activities assigned by School and University.


     


    Requirements:



    • PhD in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or a related discipline, with post-doctoral research experiences.

    • Strong record of research and relevant publications in reputable peer-reviewed international journals

    • Demonstrated the ability to obtain extramural funding

    • A good track record of supervising research staff, postdocs, students, and interns in relevant fields

    • Experienced in cross-disciplinary research initiatives and collaboration
