    Research Opportunity


    Energy transition in ports


     


    Work description



    • Studies and modelling of energy systems in ports;

    • Definition of energy models for different port assets and equipment;

    • Development of energy transition planning models for ports to support the energy transition of ports;

    • Implementing the models in Python or similar languages;

    • Writing technical documentation on the activities.


    Academic Qualifications


    Bachelor or Master in electrical and computer engineering, mechanical or related areas


    Minimum profile required



    • Knowledge of energy demand and supply modelling for different sectors;

    • Knowledge of programming languages;

    • Fluency in English (written and spoken);


    Preference factors



    • Experience in developing algorithms for demand planning and energy generation applied to different sectors and systems;

    • Programming experience in Python or similar.
