    Work description



    • To broaden the knowledge of the state of the art in the specific scientific area of the grant for the exercise of ideation and definition of the concrete problem to be dealt with by the HfPT;

    • Develop communication and science dissemination activities related to HfPT;

    • Survey and analysis of the technological needs of the national health system;

    • Conducting interviews with health professionals;

    • Participation in interaction and data collection activities, such as workshops, focus groups, interviews and questionnaires;

    • Collaborate in the writing of scientific articles and work reports;

    • Data analysis (qualitative and quantitative);

    • Compile, edit and present a map of future possibilities;

    • Write the grant activity report.


     


    Academic Qualifications



    • PhD in Digital Media;

    • Have at least two articles as first author in Q1 Scopus or WoS journal in the area of Digital Media, Computer Science or related area.


     


    Minimum profile required



    • A minimum of 3 peer-reviewed conference or journal articles;

    • Verbal and written communication skills in Portuguese and English.


     


    Preference factors



    • Experience of participating in projects involving the health sector;

    • Advanced knowledge of emerging health technologies;

    • Use of research methods with users, namely collaborative sessions such as workshops and focus groups, and conducting interviews;

    • Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative data analysis;

    • Article in a conference classified in the CORE Ranking as A or A*


     


    Maintenance stipend: € 1801,00, according to the table of monthly maintenance stipend for FCT grants , paid via bank transfer. Grant holders may be awarded potential supplements, according to a quarterly evaluation process (Articles 19, 21 and 22 of the Regulations for Grants of INESC TEC and Annex II), up to a maximum limit of 50% of the monthly maintenance stipend.


    INESC TEC supports costs with registration, enrolment or tuition fees, during the grant duration, under the terms established in the internal document: "Payment of Tuition fees to grant holders". The grant holder will benefit from health insurance, supported by INESC TEC.
