    Wireless Networks


     


    Work description



    1. Survey the state of the art in emerging wireless networks, including their simulation using real data assimilation, machine learning, and digital twin approaches;

    2. Collaborate in the writing of technical reports on communications protocols, algorithms, and mechanisms developed;

    3. Develop new modules enabling the simulation and/or experimentation of emerging wireless networks;

    4. Write publications in co-authorship within the scope of the work developed;

    5. Write the final activity report of the grant.


     


    Academic Qualifications


    Student in Electrical Engineering or similar.


     


    Minimum profile required



    1. Solid knowledge in TCP/IP stack and Linux;

    2. Proven previous research experience in the telecommunications area;

    3. Programming skills in C++ and Python.


     


    Preference factors



    1. Knowledge in IEEE 802.11, 5G, IoT technologies, and LEO Satellite connections;

    2. Knowledge in Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning;

    3. Knowledge in discrete event-driven simulation.
