    Postdoctoral Position – Turbulence and Fluid-Structure Interaction


    A postdoc position is available immediately in the Computational and Theoretical Multiphysics Lab (https://web1.eng.famu.fsu.edu/~kshoele/CTML) in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Florida State University related to computational and experimental fluid-structure interaction (FSI) in turbulent flows.


    The following skills/certifications/interests are relevant to the position:



    • Creativity and interest in interdisciplinary research

    • A PhD degree in engineering (especially mechanical, aero, or civil) or related fields (applied mathematics, computational physics).

    • Relevant previous research experience in both CFD and flow experiments. Desirable research skills include FSI, turbulence, and data-driven techniques.

    • Strong oral and written communication skills.

    • Track record of publications and scientific outputs and the ability to work independently.
