    The Department of Technology Management and Innovation at Tandon School of Engineering, invite applications for a tenure track position at the level of Assistant Professor, with earliest start date of September 1, 2025.


    Effective technology and innovation management and entrepreneurship increasingly determine success in business today. The Department of Technology Management and Innovation is an acknowledged pioneer and leader in offering courses and programs about these increasingly critical arenas. The department serves a diverse and broad range of professionals, and its faculty and students compose a vital and forward-thinking research and learning community. We are looking for candidates with expertise and interest in the intersection of technology, innovation, and people.


    Qualifications


    We encourage applications from candidates with expertise and interest in establishing research programs with emphasis on, but not limited to, the following areas:



    • Human-technology interaction

    • Technology strategy

    • Innovation management


    Candidates must have a Ph.D. degree in management, engineering, or a related discipline. Candidates must demonstrate clear potential for scholarship, leadership, curricular innovation, entrepreneurship, and funding. All candidates must demonstrate or show potential for excellence in teaching and mentoring.

    Additional Information


    In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary (for 9-month) range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 for the Assistant Professor rank. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer
