Civil and Architectural Engineering (Mechanical Engineering.)The Department of Civil & Architectural Engineering (CAE) at Lawrence Technological University has multiple open positions including tenure-track assistant professor position in the area of mechanical building systems starting August 2025. The Department invites highly motivated candidates with expertise related to energy efficiency in buildings, building controls, fire protection, plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning to apply.

The department has significant experimental research facilities including the Nabil Grace Center for Innovative Material Research (CIMR) – a 7,200-square-foot facility with unique capabilities, Lawrence Tech Transportation Institute (LTTI), and Construction Safety Research Center (CSRC), all of which support active and dynamic funded research programs.
Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in Architectural or Mechanical Engineering and are expected to pursue funded research and have a keen interest in teaching. Review of candidates will commence on November 15 and the application deadline is January 6, 2025.
