    Computer Vision on Medical Imaging


     


    Work description


    The European project AI4LUNGS (AI-based personalised care for respiratory disease using multi-modal data in patient stratification) has the goal to develop computational models based in Artificial Intelligence to optimize the diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary disease.


    The workplan will focus on the aspect of detection and characterization of radiological findings related to each of the respiratory diseases targeted by the project.


     


    Academic Qualifications


    Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related areas


     


    Minimum profile required



    • Minimum 5 indexed peer-reviewed publications (SCOPUS).

    • Knowledge of programming in Python and MATLAB.

    • Previous experience in computer vision applications in medical imaging


     


    Preference factors


    Ability to work autonomously and in a team
