https://engineering.unl.edu/chme/) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in chemical engineering at the rank of Assistant Professor.
The Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering has an outstanding infrastructure for conducting research. Additionally, several central research facilities exist at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (
UNL), such as the Nebraska Center for Materials and Nanoscience, the Nebraska Nanoengineering Research Facility, the Holland Computing Center, and the Biological Process Development Facility. There are many opportunities for collaboration across campus, including the University of Nebraska Medical Center; the Center for Brain, Biology, and Behavior; Innovation Campus; and other state and federally-funded research centers and programs. The faculty of the department are funded by a variety of state and federal funding agencies, including
NSF,
DOE, and
NIH. In addition, the recent highly prestigious early-career awards, including
NSF CAREER,
DOE Early Career, and
NIH R35
MIRA, show the increasing strength of the department’s research program.
UNL is Nebraska’s land-grant research university and ranks among Doctoral Universities with the Highest Research Activity [Carnegie
CIHE].
UNL is centered in the flourishing community of Lincoln, the third-largest city in the Big Ten. More information on Lincoln can be found here:
