    Work description


    Develop the BioSampler mechanical solution for real-time and in-situ water sampling and filtration for eDNA collection within the scope of the NMicroARTIC research project. This work plan includes the redesign and implementation of a mechanical and micro-hydraulic solution for the biosampler for submerged use as well as consideration of its use in environments with extreme weather conditions.


    The plan also includes testing and validating the implemented solution and monitoring its implementation in the field, as well as preparing all associated documentation and usage manuals.


     


    Academic Qualifications


    Master in Mechanical Engineering.


     


    Minimum profile required



    • Experience with field work and sea trials;

    • Experience with filtration and microfluidic systems.


     


    Preference factors



    • Experience in microhridaulic system design;

    • Experience in embedded systems;

    • Experience in solidworks design;

    • Practice manufacturing mechanical components.
