• Conduct research, analyze and interpret data associated with conducted research


• Supervise graduate and undergraduate students with their research.

20% - Reporting and Dissemination of Research

• Prepare and present updates on ongoing research to the research team and sponsors.


• Provide written reports on research progress.


• Prepare manuscripts for submission to top-tier journals.

5% - Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

A PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required.

• Position #1: Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, or data mining


• Position #2: Edge AI, Wireless Sensor Network, Embedded System, Internet-of-Things (IoT). Highly qualified candidates with experience for system and hardware implementation are particularly encouraged to apply.


• Position #3: VLSI and IC design. Familiarity with VLSI and IC Design EDA/CAD tools is required. Highly qualified candidates with tape-out experience are particularly encouraged to apply.


• Position #4: Neuromorphic computing. Highly qualified candidates with experience for memristor modeling, simulation, and manufacture are particularly encouraged to apply.
