    Academic Qualifications



    • Electrical and Computer Engineering, IT, Physics


     


    Minimum profile required



    • Proven competence and experience in developing applications in C++, C, Fortran and Python.

    • Experience in developing parallel applications in shared memory, using technologies such as OpenMP, TBB, among others.

    • Experience in developing parallel applications in distributed memory, using MPI.

    • Experience in using profilers for the computational characterization of applications in shared and distributed memory environments such as VTune, TAU, Perf, among others.

    • Knowledge of supercomputer architectures, including x86 and ARM processors, GPUs, and interconnection topologies.

    • Practical experience in Linux systems, HPC environments and SLURM submission systems.

    • Proficiency in written and oral communication in Portuguese and English.


     


    Preference factors



    • Knowledge and experience in high-performance libraries, such as FFTW, BLAS, LAPACK, Intel MKL.

    • Knowledge of optimization techniques for multicore architectures, hardware accelerators, and communication standards.

    • Experience in programming GPU accelerators using tools such as OpenCL, CUDA, OpenACC, among others.

    • Experience in using scientific visualization tools, such as Paraview, Visit, YT.

    • Experience in writing technical and scientific documentation in HPC, proven by active participation in conferences and workshops in the area.


     


    Salary Level


    In accordance with article 15 of the RJEC and article 2 of Regulatory Decree no. 11-A/2017, of 29 December, the gross monthly base remuneration to be awarded is based on remuneration level 3 of the Investigador Júnior category of the Public Scientific Research Career Statute, with INESC TEC applying its own remuneration table for R&D doctoral employees, with a value of €2893.81 for the equivalent category.
