    We are looking for a Research Associate who will help developing AI-powered ground penetrating radar (GPR) for accurate imaging of tree roots buried in confined areas.


     


    Key Responsibilities:


     


    The Research Associate will work on a project to research on the development of an AI-powered ultra-wideband (UWB) GPR technology. The roles of this position include:




    • Development of AI and signal processing techniques for accurate tree root detection and imaging




    • Enhancement of the existing UWB-GPR technology




    • Performing measurements on the field




    • Fusing the existing technology with other sensing technologies




     


    Job Requirements:




    • MSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or related field




    • Solid background in electromagnetics (must) and radar sensing and signal processing (preferred)




    • Experience in the development of AI algorithms (preferred)




    • A publication record (preferred)




    • High academic credentials from a reputable institution




    • Proficiency in Matlab and Phyton




    • Good written and oral communication skills
