    Work description


    The work is part of the MODAS project which aims to support and develop software for BIG DATA. The aim is to monitor and locate fibre optic cables using DAS. Make a 3D Cable representation using image processing.


     


    Academic Qualifications



    • Engineering and similar.


     


    Minimum profile required



    • Post-doctoral experience, or post-doctoral scientific curriculum, compatible with the category of scientific research career corresponding to the remuneration level defined below.

    • With a significant emphasis on signal processing.


     


    Preference factors



    • Participation, possibly including positions of responsibility, in research and development projects in Electrical Engineering.


     


    Salary Level


    In accordance with article 15 of the RJEC and article 2 of Regulatory Decree no. 11-A/2017, of 29 December, the gross monthly base remuneration to be awarded is based on remuneration level 1 of the Investigador Júnior category of the Public Scientific Research Career Statute, with INESC TEC applying its own remuneration table for R&D doctoral employees, with a value of €2348.34 for the equivalent category.
