Work description
The generic training area of the scholarship is the digital transformation of industry in which the scholarship holder will deepen their knowledge of data management. This research scholarship is the ideal opportunity to develop advanced skills and take part in an innovative project with real impact. The scholarship focuses on data management in industrial environments, addressing key issues such as:
Digital maturity and its assessment in different industrial sectors.
Data sharing and the development of data ecosystems.
Methodologies for designing and implementing effective data management strategies.
Application of the results in the creation of advanced consultancy services.
Over the course of the scholarship, the scholarship holder will have the opportunity to:
Explore and characterise innovative tools for assessing the maturity of corporate data management.
Create a personalised methodology for assessing data management maturity, adapted to the Portuguese industrial fabric.
Contribute to the definition of strategies for the development of data sharing ecosystems in industrial sectors.
To apply and validate the concepts by creating pilot ecosystems in two industrial sectors.
Participate in the production of technical-scientific documents and the final report of the scholarship.

Academic Qualifications
Master's degree in computer engineering, industrial engineering, information systems, information science, management or related field;
Minimum profile required
Average of bachelor's and master's degrees higher than 14;
Preference factors
Experience in data management models.
1 paper published in a conference or peer-reviewed journal.
Maintenance stipend: € 1309,64, according to the table of monthly maintenance stipend for FCT grants , paid via bank transfer. Grant holders may be awarded potential supplements, according to a quarterly evaluation process (Articles 19, 21 and 22 of the Regulations for Grants of INESC TEC and Annex II), up to a maximum limit of 50% of the monthly maintenance stipend.
INESC TEC supports costs with registration, enrolment or tuition fees, during the grant duration, under the terms established in the internal document: "Payment of Tuition fees to grant holders".
The grant holder will benefit from health insurance, supported by INESC TEC.
