The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) at Nanyang Technological University is a leading school for Sustainable Built Environment. It has over 50 faculty members and more than 1,500 students and is rapidly expanding its range of education and research activities.

Key responsibilities:

• 
  

  The Project Officer should be familiar with geotechnical engineering, data analytics, and/or underground engineering.

  
  


• 
  

  The Project Officer will be mainly responsible to process tunneling data and analyze the data using machine learning algorithms.

  
  


• 
  

  The position involves in conducting research, supervising undergraduate students, and writing project reports and scientific articles.

  
  

Job Requirements:

• 
  

  A Bachelor Degree in geotechnical engineering or equivalent from a recognized university;

  
  


• 
  

  Able to work independently and collaborate with team members;

  
  


• 
  

  Good verbal and written communication in English - essential for data analysis and communication with stakeholders

  
  


• 
  

  Working or research experience in geotechnical engineering and/or underground engineering of at least 1 years is desirable.
