  • Academic Year Appointment/Renewable Non-Tenure Track Instructor

    The Department of Engineering Technology at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette invites applications for two Academic Year Appointment/Renewable Non-Tenure Track Instructional positions. These positions will support the educational mission of the department with focus areas in Construction Management, Manufacturing Management, and Project Management.   Additionally, the department is responsible for instruction in undergraduate/graduate Engineering Economics, graduate courses in Project Management and Data Analysis for Engineering Projects.


    We are looking for a dynamic and dedicated faculty with expertise in two or more of the following areas: Project Management, Scheduling, Contract Documents, Cost Estimation & Analysis, Building Information Modeling (BIM), Quality Assurance and Control, Materials Management, Machining Processes, Supply Chain Logistics, Facility Planning, and Industrial Operations. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in two or more areas and a passion for teaching and mentoring students with a terminal degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, Engineering Management, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related field. Faculty are expected to engage in departmental, college, and university-level activities and have access to professional development opportunities. These are non-tenure track faculty positions. Appointments begin August 1, 2025.
