  • Associate Dean - Undergraduate Affairs, College of Engineering

    Under the direction of the Dean of Engineering, this position provides day-to-day oversight and strategic development of the College’s undergraduate programs, including outreach, international and interdisciplinary initiatives. As part of the College’s senior leadership team, the position also provides input and support to the Dean in areas involving faculty and personnel, strategic planning and development, administrative management, and other functions necessary for the College’s growth, development, and effective operation.   

    Minimum Qualifications (Required):


    Education:



    • Ph.D., Ed.D., or equivalent. Faculty at the rank of Professor, Teaching Professor, Associate Professor, Associate Teaching Professor, or equivalent.  

    • Strong communication skills, dedication to student learning and success, ability to exercise discretion and confidentiality, problem-solving skills, and ability to work with diverse groups.


    Additional Considerations:



    • Management and administrative experience preferred.

    • Professional experience with retention and curriculum strategies and management, strategic planning, program development, budget development and administration, and external relations.

    This is a Non-Unit, Professional position, P25. Formal salary range for this grade is minimum: $138,113 with midpoint of $179,547. However, salary is based on rank of the candidate and will not exceed $275,000 for those at full Professor level.
