    We are recruiting a PhD student to contribute to an NSF-funded collaborative project in Prof.  Jindal Shah’s research group in the School of Chemical Engineering at Oklahoma State  University. You can find out more about the project: https://www.nsf.gov/awardsearch/showAward?AWD_ID=2526605


    Your work will be critical in explaining molecular-level interaction governing experimental  observations on ionic liquid-polymer hybrid systems. You will also have an opportunity to  interact with fellow group members who leverage quantum chemistry, atomistic simulations,  and machine learning for design of next-generation materials for energy and environment.


    You will receive a monthly stipend and tuition waiver.


    An ideal candidate will have a strong background in either chemical engineering or a closely  related field with excellent communication and analytical skills. Experience in programming,  numerical simulations, and analysis will be viewed favorably. Candidates whose research  focuses on atomistic simulations of ionic liquids and/or polymers will be given a preference.
