    The McCoy School of Engineering at Midwestern State University invites applications for a full-time 9-month tenure-track McCoy Endowed faculty position at the Assistant/Associate Professor level to begin Fall 2026. As a faculty member in the McCoy School of Engineering you will be expected to:


    Teach courses in electrical engineering:



    1. Develop a record of research activity,

    2. Provide service to the department, college, and university,

    3. Advise/mentor electrical engineering students.


     


    The ability to develop and teach a broad number of basic electrical engineering courses and labs such as integrated circuit design, digital signal processing, embedded and real-time systems, electrical power design, and senior design is desired.


     


    Required Qualifications include:



    1. Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering (EE) or equivalent field of study (ABD applicants must have degree conferred by December 2025);

    2. Preference given to those with ABET accreditation and mentoring of senior capstone projects experience;

    3. The ability to develop and teach a broad number of basic electrical engineering courses and labs such as integrated circuit design, digital signal processing, embedded and real-time systems, electrical power design, and senior design is desired;

    4. The selected candidate should have a vested interest in undergraduate teaching, research, and service.
