    Position Summary


    The Advanced Simulations for Computing ENergy Transport (ASCENT) Laboratory at the University at Buffalo, State University of New York, has an opening for a Postdoctoral Associate with expertise in computational fluid dynamics for applications in multiphase flow, energy transport and possibly other areas of interest to the lab. The recruited Postdoctoral Research Associate is expected to be a key player in ASCENT and will help supervise and train graduate and undergraduate students, and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and scientists.

    The candidate must have significant experience with high performance computational methods and parallel computing, and a background in mechanical or engineering or closely related field. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) are essential. The successful candidate will have a proven record of publications and is expected to publish in peer-reviewed archival journals during their employment.
