    The Department of Civil Structural and Environmental Engineering at the University at Buffalo, State University of New York (UB) is seeking applications for a Research Scientist position. We are looking for candidates who can operate effectively in a diverse community of students and faculty and share our vision of helping all constituents reach their full potential.

    The successful candidate will work with Professor Alan J. Rabideau and participate in the following activities:


    • The development and application of water quality models, with a focus on the interactions stormwater discharges and receiving water (e.g., rivers).

    • Preparation of research manuscripts for publication and assistance with proposal writing.

    • Assistance with field sampling of sewers and surface waters.
