The Department of Bioengineering at UT Dallas began in 2010 and has grown to be the largest Biomedical Engineering in north Texas. According to US News and World Report, the Department is the #3 Bioengineering/Biomedical Engineering program in Texas. The department offers BS, MS, and PhD degrees in Biomedical Engineering. The Bioengineering Department is the 12th largest undergraduate program in the US according to ASEE. The close proximity to the UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas and our joint graduate program offers outstanding opportunities for collaborative research.
