Computer Science (CS)/Information and Communication Technology (ICT) at AUW aims to educate students who aspire to engage in careers in various domains of the CS/ICT Industry and Development Sectors. This program leverages technical ingenuity together with social insights across the discipline in order to address challenges in areas such as health, microfinance, entrepreneurship, governance, education, and civic activism. Our program envisions the students to work in multi-disciplinary teams to design, develop, and implement CS/ICT infused services and applications that are technically appropriate and socially viable in the global context, so as to enable true and sustainable adoption for the next billion users worldwide.
