We at the Bioengineering Department are offering faculty positions to talented individuals with a strong background in biomechanics, biomedical engineering, bioelectronics, bioinformatics, genetic engineering, bio instrumentation, and relevant bioengineering areas. The emphasis of the department is to establish a greater synergy between biosciences and engineering fields, which is a major strategic objective for the Kingdom to be achieved for the fulfilment of its VISION 2030. Established in 1963, KFUPM is proud to hold 160th position in the QS World University Rankings 2023 with its rich and diverse pool of talented researchers and students. We are also ranked 14th in the US Patents with 1500+ patents to its name. KFUPM provides a diverse ecosystem of multidisciplinary programs and labs to support research driven environment for students and faculty. The university supports various kinds of funds for the faculty to grow in their research stature such as opportunities to represent the university at reputable international conferences, fund support for journal publications and facilitate patents etc.
