Instructor Positions – Electrical, Computer Engineering, and Computer Science
The Department of Computer and Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (http://www.ceecs.fau.edu) welcomes applications for Instructor positions in the areas of Electrical, Computer Engineering, and Computer Science. Applicants are expected to demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching in the area of Computer Science, and an earned doctorate degree in Electrical, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely-related field is required.
The CEECS department is located on FAU’s Boca Raton campus. The department offers B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and Electrical Engineering; and M.S. degrees in Bioengineering. It has over 800 undergraduate and 200 graduate students. Joint programs and collaborations exist and are encouraged between the CEECS faculty and researchers from the internationally renowned research organizations Scripps Florida and Max Planck Florida, both located on FAU campuses.
The CEECS department has a strong record of research support from federal and state funding agencies and industry. Significant areas of research include cybersecurity, IoT, sensing, embedded systems, software defined autonomous networks, underwater communications, data analytics, smart grid, bioengineering, and health IT. The department is also host to two named research laboratories and two NSF Industry/University Cooperative Research Centers, with over 30 industry member affiliates.

Minimum Qualification:
An earned doctorate degree in Electrical, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely-related field is required.
