FCAI

Finnish Center for Artificial Intelligence FCAI is a community of experts that brings together top talents in academia, industry and the public sector to solve real-life problems using both existing and novel AI.

FCAI is one of the Research Council of Finland’s Finnish flagships, hubs of top-level research and impact. FCAI hosts ELLIS Unit Helsinki, a node in the pan-European ELLIS network.

Objectives

To create Real AI and to overcome the shortcomings of current AI systems, FCAI has three grand scientific objectives: data efficiency, trust & ethics, and understandability.
