Our research on advanced energy systems includes various emerging areas such as hybrid
propulsion systems, energetic materials, energy harvesting, superconductors, bioenergy,
renewable energy, batteries, fuel cells, and optimization of energy systems.
Our research on healthcare engineering is focused on applying the engineering principles
and developing the enabling technologies to solve problems related to medicine, patient
care, and various health issues.
Our research on computational sciences is focused on the development of high-fidelity
computational methods to predict system performance and to handle big data for engineering
application.
Our research on complex fluids includes turbulence, aerodynamics, multiphase flows,
fuel spray dynamics, heat transfer, and fluid-structure interactions.
