We are looking for creative, enthusiastic and self-motivated candidates who are passionate and experienced in research in Applied Physics or Mechanical Engineering. Research areas include thermomechanical analysis, thermoelastic measurement, laser-material interactions, X-ray free electron laser, Dynamic X-ray diffraction, and phononic metamaterials. Background in solid state acoustics, thermal engineering, applied physics, non-destructive testing, applied mathematics, and prior experiences in one or more of these areas are highly desirable.
