Ph.D. Positions Available
Our research group at the Engineering School of Sustainable Infrastructure & Environment, University of Florida, is seeking motivated, responsible, and high-achieving Ph.D. students to join us in advancing cutting-edge research in AI and robotics. This position provides the opportunity to explore innovative AI & robots empowered applications across a range of impactful fields, including industrialized construction, manufacturing, logistics, mobility, and healthcare. Ideal candidates will bring strong technical skills, creativity, and a commitment to research excellence, with a passion for developing transformative solutions in these areas. The expected start date is Spring 2025 or August 2025.
Requirements
- A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field with relevant experience.
- Legal eligibility to work in the United States and Florida.
- Proficiency in coding with extensive hands-on experience working with robotics (essential requirement).
- Prior publication experience in AI and robotics (preferred).
