Expertise: The research interest encompasses two main themes; one is the power electronics application into variable speed machine drives, and integration of multiple sources of renewable energy. The other theme is sensing and instrumentation, and the application into automation and robotics. The following are examples of some research projects:

Multi-inputs Multi-outputs power electronic converter for renewable energy application.
Switched Reluctance Generator for low and medium speed application.
Modelling and implementation of electromagnetic sensors and their application.
