Expertise: Using data obtained from the chemical spills laboratory and field releases, Drs. Spicer and Havens have developed the DEGADIS model, which is recognized as the state-of-the-art dispersion model for practical risk assessment for denser-than-air gases. DEGADIS` validity has been confirmed and current research is directed at extending the model to aerosol and gas jet releases.
