Dr. De la Hoz Siegler’s main research interest is the optimization and intensification of bioprocess through the systematic control of the cellular environment, with applications to the production of chemicals, clean energy, and functional foods. His research efforts are focused on increasing the understanding of the dynamic behaviour of photobiological systems, and in developing new sensors for measuring and controlling the cellular behaviour.
