Expertise: Development of new types of plasmonic metal nanostructures and metal- semiconductor hybrid nanostructures for photocatalytic solar fuels production. Our current research activities involve colloid nanoparticle synthesis, fabrication of core-shell nanostructures and hetero-nanostructures, metal-enhanced fluorescence, plasmon-driven light harvesting, photocatalytic and photoelectrochemical water splitting
