Development of hydroxayaptite nanoparticles for bioimaging and virotherapy. The aim of this work is to use hydroxyapatite nanoparticles for targeted delivery of drugs, genes and viruses for cancer treatment. These nanoparticles will also be labeled to allow for bioimaging and to monitor their biodistribution in vivo.
Biodegradable drug-eluting coronary heart stents. In this work, stents made from biodegradable polymers are incorporated with drugs. The degradation of the polymer and the controlled release of these drugs are studied both in vitro and in animal models.
