Multiple Tenure Track Positions in Electrical & Computer Engineering
The University of Michigan-Dearborn, Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering (ECE) invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions in multiple areas. We are seeking qualified individuals in the following areas:
- Power and energy, especially as it relates to vehicle electrification and supporting infrastructure.
- Robotics, all areas, relevance to vehicle autonomy, perception, sensor fusion, reasoning, and navigation is desirable.
- Solid-state nano electronic, optical and photonic devices and systems.
Consideration is primarily at the Assistant Professor level, but outstanding candidates at the Associate Professor and Professor levels will also be considered. Applicants should have research interests and expertise within the areas listed above. Selected candidates will be expected to establish an excellent externally funded research program in their chosen area. A candidate at the Associate or Full Professor rank should already have an established, funded research program.
Qualified candidates must have, or expect to have, a Ph.D. in in Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a closely related discipline, by the time of appointment and will be expected to do scholarly and sponsored research, as well as teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. The ECE Department offers several BS and MS degrees, as well as a PhD degree.
