The Department of Chemical Engineering and the Haley Barbour Center for Manufacturing Excellence at the University of Mississippi invite applications for a full-time (9 months) non-tenure track instructor position beginning in Fall 2018. The primary duty of the instructor will be teaching courses for the core undergraduate chemical engineering, general engineering, and manufacturing curricula. The expected teaching load is three to four courses (or course sections) per semester. The position is a nine-month appointment with the possibility for additional summer salary (teaching or research) based on need and available funding. A Master’s degree or higher with at least one degree in Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is required. Applications and nominations will be accepted until the position is filled. Review of applications will begin in Fall 2017. A cover letter, detailed curriculum vita, teaching statement, and a list of at least three references should be submitted with the online application.
