The Department of Energy, Environmental & Chemical Engineering invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure eligible faculty position at the Lecturer rank to begin August 2017. The Lecturer will teach classes in the undergraduate and masters program in the department in the areas of chemical engineering and environmental engineering science. The position is a full time appointment. With several initiatives in the Department, the Lecturer can also participate and help in other activities (ABET, Student Chapters, International Programs) to support the educational mission.

The department is vibrant with many active research and educational programs. Founded in 1853, Washington University is a medium-sized, independent research university dedicated to challenging its faculty and students to seek new knowledge and greater understanding of an ever changing, multi-cultural world. Applicants should send a cover letter outlining their experience and interest, a curriculum vitae, a statement of teaching philosophy, and names of two references and submit it through the University HR Jobs Posting Page at https://jobs.wustl.edu/.
