The Collaborative Institute for Multisource Information Fusion (CIMIF) is seeking to hire highly motivated and skilled Postdoctoral Associate to join its research mission to advance the state of the art in Multisource Information Fusion technology and applications.

The successful candidate will perform independent and directed research to achieve the objectives of research projects within CIMIF. Methods for multisource information fusion have evolved over time but as for any technological field, the challenges of new and evolving applications and the evolution of new and related technologies creates continuing challenges for development of applicable and effective algorithmic and process designs for fusion applications and systems.

Tasks may include:
  • Organize and implement research plans.
  • Develop methods or research that incorporate highly specialized training in a specific specialty.
  • Conduct tests procedures and engage in data collection.
  • Analyze, evaluate, and present findings in professional journals and at professional conferences and meetings.
  • Mentoring graduate and/or undergraduate students.
