Teaching Professor Positions in Department of Computer Science at UNC Charlotte

The Department of Computer Science (CS) in the College of Computing and Informatics (CCI) offers Bachelor of Science (BS) degrees in Computer Science with concentrations in Software, Systems and Networking; Artificial Intelligence, Robotics and Gaming; and Data Science. The department also offers a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science and a Computer Science track within the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree.

We are seeking applications for two Teaching Professor positions at any rank (pos# 001715, 001757). Successful candidates will be expected to teach courses in core areas of computer science at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, mentor/advise students, develop new curriculum and courses, practice education innovation, contribute to diversity improvements, and engage students in extra-curricular and undergraduate research activities. An ideal applicant will have a combination of a PhD degree in CS or a closely related discipline (required) and prior experience teaching online and in-person computer science courses.
