The Mechanical Engineering Program (https://ncc.metu.edu.tr/mech/home) at the Middle East Technical University Northern Cyprus Campus (METU NCC) invites applications for a permanent faculty position in all areas of mechanical engineering, especially in the field of “manufacturing technologies and solid mechanics” as well as “energy and thermal sciences”.
Successful applicants are required to have a doctoral degree in mechanical engineering or a closely related field and are expected to develop and teach courses at undergraduate and graduate levels. Recent PhD graduates and experienced academics with a perspective to take up a permanent position, as well as visiting scholars, are welcome. Appointments at all ranks will be considered.
The positions are full-time and will be available from the fall semester of 2024-2025 (September 2024) or such other date that is mutually agreed upon.
