A Postdoctoral Research Position is immediately available in the i-Sensor Lab in the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Alabama. The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team to develop sensors/instrumentation for environmental monitoring and/or microfluidic devices for physiological measurement and other emerging applications. The candidate will be responsible for developing sensors, preparing manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals/conference, and assisting the PI to train graduate students.

Preferred Qualifications: Skills in two or more of the following areas are preferred.

Optical instrumentation design


Printed circuit board design

Labview/Matlab Programing

Signal Processing
