The Centre of Hardware Assurance (CHA), Temasek Laboratories@NTU, is looking for a candidate to join as a Research Scientist to conduct research in the evaluation and vulnerability analysis of hardware security mechanisms in devices at the chip, firmware and PCB levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare electronic samples at both chip and PCB levels with advanced facilities and techniques, which are widely used in semiconductor industry for invasive, semi-invasive and non-invasive hardware security analysis

• Plan, study and investigate workflows for the chip and PCB security analysis

• Improve the developed security analysis workflows with higher throughput and accuracy

• Analyze PCB and microchip through various state-of the art non-destructive analysis / characterization techniques and tools

Job Requirements

• Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, or a related discipline, or a Master's degree in these fields with a minimum of five years of relevant work experience

• Knowledge in microelectronics and packaging is required, knowledge in failure analysis is a plus

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Problem solving, research and analytical skills

• Independent and can work well in a team
