Work description

1- Implementation of numerical simulation enabling the extraction of the channel response as a function of the states configured in a RIS.

2- Implementation of test routines for the statistical evaluation via simulation of the accuracy of posture recognition as a function of the number of elements of the surface and the number of independently controllable groups.

3- Prepare the submission of a scientific paper.

4- Write the grant activities report.

Academic Qualifications

Bsc in Electrical Engineering, or similar

Minimum profile required

Experience with the conduction of experimental measurements involving the manipulation of antennas

Preference factors

Experience with the implementation of Machine Learning algorithms for pose estimation from RF data.

Maintenance stipend: € 990,98, according to the table of monthly maintenance stipend for FCT grants , paid via
bank transfer. Grant holders may be awarded potential supplements, according to a quarterly evaluation process
(Articles 19, 21 and 22 of the Regulations for Grants of INESC TEC and Annex II), up to a maximum limit of 50% of
the monthly maintenance stipend.
